Ulrike Pötzsch – what do I do?
Through my work as a non-medical practitioner, I support people in regaining their health and thus enable them to enjoy a better quality of life and vitality. During my years of practice I became more and more aware of the importance of the intestine for our health, so that I specialized in intestinal cleansing or intestinal rehabilitation. A healthy intestine and a healthy intestinal flora are not only important for digestion, but also an essential requirement for successfully treating chronic complaints such as allergies, skin diseases, migraines or rheumatic complaints.
How did I come to this?
After my university degree I worked for many years as a graduate engineer for economy. After the birth of my two children in 1997 and 2000, I became more and more involved with naturopathic topics and the desire grew to expand this knowledge and to re-orientate myself professionally.
Where did I learn my treatment procedures?
First I completed a 3-year training in classical homeopathy at the Samuel-Hahnemann-School. Afterwards I started my two-year well-founded training as alternative practitioner at the Arche-medica-School. Here I learned the basics of conventional medicine as well as smaller healing methods such as nutrition therapy, ear acupuncture, leech therapy and Bach flower therapy. I passed the medical examination for the “permission to practice medicine” in 2007.
In March 2010 I completed the two-year intensive training in acupuncture. Since then I have been practising Chinese Medicine with great enthusiasm and success. In order to be able to successfully treat more difficult complaints such as bronchial asthma, hay fever, allergies or neurodermatitis, I also included bioresonance and colon hydrotherapy in my treatment spectrum.
What you should consider before starting treatment?
You should be willing to work on your recovery so that the treatment is successful. This includes, for example, switching to a healthier diet, regular exercise or taking food supplements. If you are a stress patient, you should be prepared to incorporate relaxation phases into your life and ensure that you get enough sleep.
When is it necessary to take food supplements?
If there is reason to believe that you are suffering from a lack of vital substances, the Mitobiom therapy should be carried out. Serious deficiencies in vitamins, trace elements, co-enzymes or minerals should first be substituted in order to support the body quickly.
Certain food supplements are also indispensable for the elimination of heavy metal contamination or other toxins. And often the intake of Intestinal Bacteria or Effective Microorganisms is necessary for the development of a healthy intestinal flora or the treatment of a Leaky Good Syndrome.
